#RUNHOMESG with the Income Eco Run

How about running as an alternative mode of commuting?

RUN SINGAPORE BY | UPDATED 7 YEARS AGO

This year’s Income Eco Run may only be happening on 29 April, but the event organisers want you to get a head start. How about running as an alternative mode of commuting? The #RUNHOMESG initiative was kicked off in January and will continue to take place until the event day.

Runners are encouraged to run towards a collective goal of 10,000km, which in eco terms is equivalent to 486 litres of fuel, enough to power a four-room flat for up to three months.

Along the way, runners can track their mileage with their own activity trackers and upload screenshots of their completed runs on social media with the hashtag #RUNHOMESG. 10 winners will be picked every month until 31 March, and those chosen will win a series of very attractive prizes.

The campaign was kicked off on 16 January when a team of the event’s pacers from official pacer group the Running Department led the first group of Run Home runners out from the Marina Bay.  The initiative aims to encourage an eco movement to reduce carbon footprint, in support of Income Eco Run’s quest to run towards Zero Waste.

The Income Eco Run 2018 will take place on 29 April 2018 at the F1 Pit Building. For more information on #RUNHOMESG and to register for Income Eco Run 2018, please visit IncomeEcoRun.sg
