Singapore’s vibrant fitness landscape has a new addition. FS8, the revolutionary global brand that blends Pilates, Tone, and Yoga, has opened its very first Singapore and Southeast Asia studio in Upper Thomson. With its science-backed workouts and community-first approach, FS8 is poised to redefine how Singaporeans train, recover, and connect.

Launched in 2021 as an extension of the F45 franchise, FS8 was created to meet the demand for innovative, low-impact but high-performance workouts. Fusing the precision of Pilates, the balance of Yoga, and the strength of functional training, FS8 brings together the best of mindful movement and physical conditioning — a holistic approach that resonates with modern lifestyles.

The new Upper Thomson studio is more than just a fitness space. Spread across 1,900 square feet, it is fitted with 18 reformers and thoughtfully designed zones for mat work, functional training, and mindful recovery. Members can expect limitless variety, with six signature classes and over 5,000 exercises ensuring that no two sessions are ever the same.

At the launch, we had special guest coach Jo Gomez, FS8’s newly appointed Director of Athletics – Pilates to join the brand on the opening.  With more than two decades of global experience shaping boutique fitness brands, Gomez brings expertise that seek to further refine FS8’s programming and expand its Pilates offerings worldwide. The event had the privilege to have her lead an exclusive class for friends of the media and some special guests from diverse sports interests and backgrounds. We had strength coaches, avid yoga practitioners, runners, as well as national triathlete Yong Man Yun and celebrity host and actor Paul Foster, just to name a few.

The dynamic workout session was then complemented by a short and powerful 20-minute breathwork session led by award winning Somatic Trauma-Informed Coach, Sophie Leung, leaving everyone feeling grounded, energized, and deeply connected.

Behind FS8 Upper Thomson are two passionate leaders: Natasha Bajaj, a dynamic entrepreneur and wellness advocate who balances business with her creative pursuits as a children’s book author, and Jessie Heng Mishra, a seasoned private banker and philanthropist whose lifelong commitment to fitness and community well-being inspired her to bring FS8 to Singapore. Together, their vision is to build a fitness hub that empowers individuals to strengthen body and mind in equal measure.

“FS8 is more than just a workout — it’s a way to create balance in a fast-paced world,” said Gomez at the launch. “We believe Singapore will embrace this unique blend of strength, mindfulness, and recovery.”

With its fresh philosophy, sleek studio design, and inspiring leadership team, FS8 Upper Thomson marks the beginning of a new fitness movement in Singapore.
