AboutFounded in 2019, we are a team of triathlon coaches with a strong passion to raise the sport of triathlon in Sunny Singapore. We understand that it is a daunting task for many to start out on the journey to their first triathlon and our shared vision is to build a positive, friendly and inclusive multi-sport community of athletes of all abilities where we learn and share as one Singapore Triathlon community while inspiring more individuals to pick up the sport. Spread among us are years of multi-sport training and racing experience both at the varsity and national level - we hope to share and impart the skills and techniques that we have learnt and honed to the new, the seasoned and also the next generation of triathletes!
Coach/Trainer(s)Ian Chew (Co-Founder) + Tribal Coaching Tam

Ian is a World Triathlon and Singapore NROC Triathlon Level 1 Coach and also the Head Coach of the Nanyang Technological University's Aquathlon Team and Iron Project Singapore IRONMAN Triathlon Team. He currently drives the multisport programs at TRIBAL with the club taking top sport as overall club champions at the Metasprint Series for two consecutive years in 2022 and 2023. The club also focuses strongly on performance with the fast growing youth development squad that feeds athletes into the Singapore Triathlon National Team pipeline and Age Group programs that help aspiring multisport athletes qualify for the IRONMAN or IRONMAN 70.3 world championships.

He is supported by the rest of our tribal coaching team who all hail from various backgrounds and specializations in each or all of the triathlon legs (Swim, Bike, Run). We pride ourselves in our dynamic team and coaching culture where everyone is mutually supportive in helping our athletes and community develop and grow to reach their fullest potential.
