Garmin vívofit jr. 2 Gets a New Galactic Look for the Holidays

Garmin has rolled out a special collection of sports watches this holiday season, including a new version of the vívofit jr. 2 kid’s fitness tracker, now fitted with Lucasfilm’s Star Wars themed bands.

In addition to tracking steps, sleep, and daily recommended activity minutes, the Garmin vívofit jr. 2 provides kids with an interactive, character-influenced experience where activity unlocks adventure, shaping habits for lifelong health and fitness.

These latest additions also introduce new fitness training cards that walk kids through basic exercise moves with the help of Star Wars characters. The etched band designs are durable, and a with a customisable colour screen, the vívofit jr. 2 is swim-friendly and boasts a claimed battery life of over a year before needing a battery replacement.

Two different etched band designs let kids choose between the light side or dark side of the Force. There is also a corresponding companion mobile app, Skywalker Saga – A Star Wars Adventure. With an adult as their helper, kids can use the Star Wars story as their backdrop as the aim to stay active every day.
