Rail Corridor Trail Run

The Rail Corridor Trail Run is back with a photo contest this round

The railway line that once linked Singapore to Malaysia stretches 24KM from Tanjong Pagar Station to Woodlands holds fond memory for many.  Coined ‘Rail Corridor’ after the tract of land was returned to Singapore since 2011, major transformation infusing three main themes namely, ‘Heritage & Culture’, ‘Biodiversity & Greenery’ and ‘Recreation’ has already taken place.  The aim is to rejuvenate meaningful experiences for trail seekers and nature lovers alike.

Rail Corridor Trail Run is back for its second consecutive year.  It is not a competitive run but do it at own pace while enjoying the breeze in lush setting. Tagline “A Run To Remember!”, runners can choose to run 5KM, 10KM and 24KM.

Taking the current safety measures into consideration, participants can choose to run at any location of their choice. However, you may also choose to run along the idyllic rail corridor belt and take part in our “Run & Shoot” contest. In order to take part in this photo contest, run along the rail corridor route and take your best photo of anything aesthetic, from your own poses to any interesting artefact/objects you see along the way! Post this photo on your Instagram feed and remember to add #railcorridorphotocontest21. The top 3 Best photo and caption wins a prize (More details on https://www.railcorridorrun.com/ ).

Format of run:

There are 3 categories of run you can choose from.

Sign up to run the 5KM, 10KM or 24KM, all at your own pace. Remember, this is not a competitive run but a chill run for us all to appreciate the nature around us.

Every participant is entitled to a limited edition Rail Corridor Run Tee (with stitching design), a uniquely designed finisher medal, a digital copy of RUN Singapore e-Magazine and an e-Certificate upon completion of run.
